A field exploration has been conducted as part of the programme for BBDW22 to discover what design sounds like in Bilbao, how it vibrates in the streets, and how people experience it in their everyday environment. To do so, several people who published an advert on Wallapop including the word "design" were interviewed, as well as local businesses that use the word in their signage, to understand what design is for these people, how they experience it, and how they define it. This process will culminate in an exhibition at Abando Station of Metro Bilbao, from November 10th to 27th, where you can encounter shared stories and reflections that have emerged from the people who write and sell "design" in the city.
