Dendaz. This is Basque Design, Azkuna Zentroa - Alhóndiga’s Bilbao shop, which is a space dedicated to giving visibility to designers in this field, promoting their work and establishing new connections. The project is built on Azkuna Zentroa’s strategic values: creativity, accessibility, diversity and collaboration.

A dynamic and lively design store concept, open every day of the year, where craftsmanship takes the form of original and corporate items, and where the creative process is highlighted. What makes dendAZ different? This is Basque Design sets itself apart due to the added value of the product, providing visibility to the local, sustainability, Do It Yourself and exclusivity, and the promotion of the concept of creative and responsible shopping.

On 25, 26 and 27 November, as part of Bilbao Bizkaia Design Week (BBDW), Azkuna Zentroa is showcasing its design and creativity ecosystem with This is Basque Design Merkatua, a market in which the public can discover and purchase products produced by about twenty designers and learn about their production processes and techniques through talks, demonstrations and workshops.
